Well this constant bad weather we've been having has meant that we haven't had much chance to get outside, have fun & some fresh air. That is except for the daily school runs in the cold, wet & wind! So last Friday when it was dry after school I took the chance to take the boys to the park after school.
As everywhere is pretty soggy I choose one that is mainly on hard surface & they surprised me by staying off the grassed area. Unfortunately the sun had been out all day & as soon as school was out it clouded over, but despite the cold the boys had lots of fun!
We also braved the cold & wind (thank goodness it was dry) to join the Portishead leg of the #TeamHonk relay race for Sport Relief on Monday, for more details & pictures (me & the boys) take a look at Jane from Practically Perfect Mums blog post.

ReplyDeleteLooks like fun! We also just went to the local park but it makes all the difference to them doesn't it, even just getting outside for a short while. They look so happy :-)
